Alison Mungenast, PhD

Alison Mungenast, PhD is a multifunctional neuroscientist who brings to Delix 15+ years’ experience in academia and industry with a focus on neuroplasticity and neurodegeneration. She combines extensive cell culture and molecular biology expertise with imaging and assay development skills both in vivo and in vitro to support drug discovery. Alison received her BA in psychology from Cornell University, a PhD in Neuroscience from Oregon Health and Sciences University, and was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Pennsylvania. Following a research position at MIT and the Broad Institute, she began her industry career at Eisai Inc and, most recently, was a Sr. Director at Sana Biotechnology, building a CNS cell therapy platform.
